1. Introduction

ALT FUEL NUTRITION VENTURES PTE. LTD. ("Alt Fuel", "we", "us" or "our") is a company incorporated in Singapore under Company Registration Number 202634127G. Our registered office is at 57 Mohamed Sultan Road, #01-05, Sultan-Link, Singapore 238997.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you use our website www.alt-fuel.com and related online services, including any mobile app we may launch in the future (together, the "Services"). Alt Fuel is the data controller for the personal data described here.

We comply with Vietnam's Law on Personal Data Protection No. 91/2025/QH15 and Decree No. 356/2025/ND-CP, and with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012. This policy does not cover third-party websites or services that our Services link to.

2. Data we collect

Data you give us

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number.
  • Order and delivery details: shipping address and order history, if you buy from us.
  • Messages you send us, such as enquiries, feedback, reviews and survey answers.
  • Preferences you share, such as newsletter sign-ups and product interests.

Data we collect automatically

  • Device and online identifiers: IP address, device model, operating system, browser type, cookie IDs and mobile advertising IDs (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android).
  • Usage data: pages and screens viewed, links clicked, time spent, referring site and session dates.
  • Approximate location, inferred from your IP address.
  • Diagnostic data: crash reports and performance logs.

Data from third parties

  • Advertising and analytics partners (Section 6) may tell us which ad or campaign brought you to our Services and how you interacted with it.
  • If you contact us or sign in through a social platform such as Facebook, we receive the details that platform shares with your permission.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data, such as health, biometric or financial account data. Please do not send it to us. The one exception is athletes we pay, who may add bank details in the athlete hub (below).

Hydration tracker

Our hydration tracker asks for details such as your body weight, how much you sweat, your workouts and the drinks you log. These details stay in your browser's storage on your phone or computer. They are never sent to us, and we cannot see them. To delete them, clear this website's data in your browser settings.

If you let the tracker use your location, it is rounded to about 1 km and sent through our website to the weather service Open-Meteo, only to look up the current temperature and humidity. Open-Meteo receives the rounded location without your IP address. We do not save your location or link it to you.

Athlete hub

If you are an athlete working with us, our athlete hub (alt-fuel.com/athlete-hub, by invitation only) keeps what we need to run your agreement: your name, email, phone, sport, social media handles, delivery address and preferred language; your tasks, drafts, captions, posts, results and screenshots of your post insights; the races and competitions you add, with your results and a photo of each official result; your support claims and receipts; your payments; and your signed agreement. If you add bank details, we keep them only with your consent, to pay you. Only you, your athlete manager and our super admins can see them, every time someone shows the full account number it is recorded, and a change only takes effect after your manager calls you back to check. A few days before each race, we send you a good-luck message with the race-day forecast: for the forecast, only the race's place name and date go to Open-Meteo, a free weather service, never your name or contact details.

Other members of our team see only your name, handles, content calendar and post results. The hub stores this in our Google Workspace (Google Sheets and Google Drive). Signing in puts a session key in your browser's storage; signing out removes it.

We keep payment records, claims, receipts and the signed agreement until 31 December of the 10th year after the year of your last payment, as Vietnam's accounting law requires. We keep your other hub records for 7 years after the agreement ends, and delete your bank details once the agreement has ended and everything is paid. Nothing is deleted automatically: a super admin checks and confirms each deletion.

If you apply to work with us as an athlete (alt-fuel.com/athlete-hub#apply), we use what you send (your name, email, phone or Zalo, city, sport, level, results, social media accounts and anything else you write) only to review your application and contact you about it. It is sent by email to info@alt-fuel.com and is not kept in the athlete hub. If we don't work together, we delete it within 12 months.

3. How we collect data

  • Forms and direct contact: when you fill in a form, place an order, subscribe or email us.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: small files and pixels placed on your browser or device (see Section 9).
  • Analytics tools: such as Google Analytics and Google Firebase, which measure how the Services are used.
  • Advertising technologies: such as the Meta Pixel, Apple Search Ads attribution and Google Ad Manager, which measure ad performance and may link activity across your devices.

4. How we use your data

  1. Provide the Services: process orders, deliver products, answer enquiries and provide customer support.
  2. Improve and personalise: understand how the Services are used, fix problems and tailor content to your interests.
  3. Marketing and advertising: send newsletters and show you Alt Fuel ads on other platforms, where you have consented. You can opt out at any time.
  4. Measure campaigns: find out which ads and channels bring visitors and sales.
  5. Safety and security: detect fraud, abuse and security incidents.
  6. Legal compliance: meet tax, accounting and regulatory duties and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

We may also create anonymised or aggregated data that no longer identifies you and use it for any lawful purpose.

5. Legal basis

We process your personal data on these bases:

  • Consent. This is our main basis, including for marketing, advertising cookies and analytics. You give consent through a clear action, such as ticking an unticked box or clicking "Accept". Silence or inaction is not consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • Contract. To fulfil an order or agreement with you.
  • Legal obligation. To comply with the laws that apply to us.
  • Other grounds permitted by law. For example, protecting life or health in an emergency. Under Singapore law, this also includes our legitimate interests where the PDPA allows it, such as fraud prevention.

6. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers that host, analyse, deliver or support our Services under contracts requiring them to protect your data.
  • Advertising and analytics partners, listed below.
  • Delivery and payment providers, to complete your orders.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers and auditors.
  • Event co-hosts. When you sign up for an event we host together with a partner company, the event page says so, and we share your name, email, phone number and whether you checked in with that partner so they can run the event. They may use these details only for that event.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect rights and safety.
  • A buyer or successor, in a merger, acquisition or restructuring.
